http://www.equideo.com The french version of Howrse. It's a little older, and the coats are tons better!! I'm also WindSunSky on this, too, except I breed Dartmoor Ponies (Have you seen a palomino or a dun one on howrse? No!). The ponies even come in strawberry roan and mouse gray - if you can translate that. The Anglo - Arabs come in palomino. I wish they had that color on Howrse!
http://www.horseland.com I switched to my new main as C.roft. I breed Norikers and train. This site is a lot different than Howrse. For one thing, some people a lot M E A N E R! And emoticons are used waay more. But there are way more breeds and open communication.

Stop Slaughter Stories
Okay, they're not really fun. But I make them, and if you ordered one on horseland you can pick it up here. To order one for your website, email me (horsecrazy88@gmail.com) the form below:

Main character: (You can either have an annoymous horse or a made-up character)
Disipline of character: (Options are racing, none, broodmare, stallion, jumping, park, or rodeo)
Happy end?: (The character can either be saved or killed)
Gender: (Stallion, mare, gelding, filly, or colt)
Foal: (This applies for mares only. Just say yes or no)
Pick-ups: Just copy the text and put it on your website. You can also put it on a simple background to make a graphic.

Dynamic - sad ending
I was a great horse. People came to admire me every time I was at a show. I arched my neck and picked up my legs as I trotted proudly around the show ring. We were unbeatable. I thought I was your greatest pride. I had never lost a show. But I did. I got second place which isn't good enough for YOU. A man showed up and put me in a trailer full of sad, miserable horses. I reared and called to you, but you turned your back on me and the evil man shut the door. For three days I had no food, water, or contact. That was enough to drain my proud spirit. The other horses had no hope, but I was sure this was only a trip to a new home. When the door finally opened, I blinked at the light. So did every other horse. That gave the mean man enough time to put a rope around my neck and drag me out of the crowded trailer. We were pushed into a paddock with no grass. It was full of moping horses. They seemed to be waiting. As I watched, the evil man put a rope around a bay's neck, pulling it towards a black enterance. I heard screams and neighs of fear, and then silence. More horses kept going into the dark pit and stopped. Then, the man took me. The place smelled of fear and blood. I didn't know what was happening, so I tried to escape. I reared and snapped and tried to bolt, only to get struck time after time. Another man picked up a gun and pulled the trigger. I felt great pain and fell to my knees in shock. Even though I was still alive, they ripped off my beautiful gray coat and tossed it aside. Slowly I died. Stop the slaughter! Why should more horses end up like me?
Cricket - happy ending
I lived in a pasture all by myself for a long time with no one to care for or love me. My coat was dirty and my mane and tail were tangled. Often I got sick when I ate the wrong plant or couldn't find water. There was a lot of grass to eat but the paddock was choked with weeds. One day people showed up with a trailer. I was terrified and ran away. But they cornered me by the barbed wire fence, which I was even more afraid of, and managed to wrangle a halter and lead rope onto me. I still struggled, but they were strong and I was only a little brown pony. They dragged me across the field and then snapped the barbed wire with some kind of scissors. I was led out and put into the trailer. I was terrifed and kicked the walls in fear. I managed to find some hay bits on the floor, and it rained once so water leaked in. But there was nothing else to eat. I was used to not being fed for days at a time, so I fared okay. They led me out some time later and took me to a scary place. I watched as they killed and skinned a palomino mare, and I squealed and tried to run away from my fate. They still held on tight and put me in front of the man with a knife. Jus then, someone cried and the men looked around. A girl was running towards me. She stood in front of the man with a knife, who yelled at her. She didn't move. I had no idea what was happening. Finally they handed her my rope and she led me away from the place. She groomed me and fed me and gave me water. Now I am loved. Save a horse from slaughter!
